BOOK TWO

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

This is a well constructed, well told story. The love scenes are so tastefully done and simply become a part of the narrative and not the reason for the story to be told. Roger is a character I can see quite clearly in my mind’s eye. His gentleness makes him a true hero. Beautifully written.

Romantic fiction generally doesn’t appeal to me, partly because the story is often too implausible. But I liked the realism and naturalism of this novel. I especially liked the chapter, Book of Ruth. The wording in the love scene helped symbolize [Ruth’s] loss of inhibition, which you described
very sensitively.

I just finished The Frailest Leaves of Me. Can't wait to get into Book III That Shadow My Likeness. I love the characters!
